I craft beautiful, human-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications. I draw and write comics about life in Berlin and New York City. I even tinker with electronics and make interactive art from time to time.

I was commissioned by the Takt Artist Residency in Berlin, Germany to produce a set of drawings for their website. The residency is located mainly in East Berlin, and they are currently expanding to Leipzig, Germany.

For this set I chose to focus on illustrating typical scenes in East Berlin. Its shabby industrial aesthetic gives a clear representation of this residency’s roots.
