Layered TV Remote

I was asked to come up with a new, more efficient remote control design. The problem I focused the most on solving was how the amount of buttons on a remote can be overwhelming and confusing.
Hence, I solved that issue by designing a multi-tiered remote: one layer for TV, a layer for VCR, a layer for DVD, and a layer with a trackpad and a keyboard.
This prototype was built purely to convey the look, feel and structure, and hence it is not a functional one.
